Lap Belt

When you sH in a cenlfii rear &ea( position of an extended

cab or In the ceri(er front seat position of erther a crew

cab or gn extended cab, you have a lap belt.

Vour tap safety belt has no retractor. To make the belt

longer, tin the latch ptgta and pull it along the bell.

To make the belt shorter pull its tree end as shown

until the belt is snug.

Bwkle, position and release it the same way as the lap

part of a lap'&houlder boll, tf the bell isn't long

enough, see Safety Beit Extender on page 1-31,

Make sore the release button Ofl the buckle is positioned

so you would be able to unbuckle the safely bell

quictdy if you ever had to*
