Outside Curb View Assist Mirrors
Outside Convex Mirror

TTie vfiNcle’s mirrors ara capable of performing Ihg curtí
view assist mtrrw funclion, ThI* feature will cause the
passenger's and/or driver's mirror to tilt to a presglooted
posillon when the vehicle Is in REVERSE (R). Tills
feature may be useful In allowing ycKu 1o view tha curb
when you are parallel parking. When (he vehicle is
shifled out of REVERSE (R) and a short delay
has occurred, the passenger's and/or driver's mirror will
return to its Original position.
To change the preselecled tHt position, adjust the
mirrors lo the desired position while the vehicle is in
REVERSE (R). When the vehicPs is shifted out of
REVERSE (R}, this new position is saved in memory as
Ihe ilh position.

the Driver Information Center. See Driver infoiTTralian
Center (D!C} on f>ege 3-50.

mlrror^s surface is curved so you can see rm>re from the
'drivers seat.
A convex mirror can make things (Like other
vehEclesI look farther away than they really are.
If you cut too sharply into the right Ipne, you
could h'Lt a vehicle on yogr right. Check your
inside mirror or glance Over your shoulder
before changing Lanes.
Outside Heated Mirrors
The outside rea-rview mirrors with this option have a
defrost mode.
To turn on the defrost feature, press the rear window
defogger hulton. See fJear Window Defoggsr under Duaf
Automatic Ciimate Controi System on page 3-24 for
further information.
