t RDM (Random): Press ihis puslibulton to hear Che
hacks in random, rather than seqaonfiak order. RDM ON
wiN appaar on the display, RDM T and Ihe track
number M appear on. the display when each rracli
starts to play. Press this pushbutton again to turn
otf random play. RDM OFF will appear on the display.
^ SEEK ►: Press the lefi arrow to go to The start
of ihe cument or to The pre^rioiis traclt. Press the right
arrow to go to the start of the rrext hack. IF either
arrow is held or pressed nr^ore then or^ce, The player will
ccHilinue moving backward or forward through the CD.
SCAN ^ : To scan 1he disc, press and hold
either SCAN arriow lor more than two seconds until
SCAN appears on Ihe display and you hear a Peep. Use
this feature to listen to
10 seconds of each track at
the disc. Press aJlber SCAN arrow agairiif to stop
scanning.
DISP (Display): Press this knob to sea how long the
current track has been playing. ET and Ihe elapsed lime
will appear on the display. To change the default on
the display {track or elapsed lime), push the knob until
you see the display you want, theri hold the knob
for iwo seconds. The radio will produce cne beep and
selected display will now be the deFaull..
QaND; Press this button to iisien to the radio when a
CD Is playing. The CD will stop but nemaJn in the player.
TAPE DISC: Press this button to play a tape whan
listening to the radio. Press this hutton to switch
between (he tape and compact disc if both are loaded..
The Inaciive tape or CD will remain safely inside ihe
radio lor future listanihg.
^ (EiMt); Press this bulTor) to stop a CD when it is
playing or to eject a CD when it is not playing^ Eject
may be activated with either the ignition or radio off, CDs
may be loaded with the radio and ignition off if Ihis
button is pressÊid first.
Compact Disc Messages
If the disc comes out^ It could bo for one of the follciwing
reasons:
You're driving on a very rough road. When the road
becomes smoother Ihe disc should play^
It’s very hot When the temperature returns to
normak the disc should play.
The disc is dirty, scratched, wet or upside down.
The air is very humid. If so. wait about an hour and
try again.
If the CD I5 not playing coiTectty. For any other reason,
try a known good CD.
If any error occurs repeaiedly or if an error canT he
corrected, conlacl your dealer.
