Adding Equipment to Your Air
Bag-Equipped Vehicle
Q: Is there anything I might to the front of the
vehicle that could keep the air bags from
working properly?
A: Ves. If yoj acTd things that change yo^r vehicle's
trams, bumper system, front end sheet meial or
height, they may keep Ihe air bag system tiom
working properly. Also, the air bag sysTem may not
work properly If you relocale any of the air bag
sensors. If you hava any questions about this, you
should contact Custonier Assistance before you

properly under a wide range of conditions, including
snow plowing with vehicles equipped with 1he
optional Snow Plow Prep Package fRPO VYU), Bui
dqn^t change or defeat the snow plow’s 'Tripping
mechanism." If you do. it can damage your
snow plow and your vehicle, and it may cause an
air bag inflation.
