Dome Lamps
The dome (amps wilf come on when you open a door,
You can also lum the dome lamps on by hjmlng the
[humbwheeL located next to the exterior lamps control, all
Ihe way up, Jn this position, the dome lamps will reinam
on whether the doofs are opened or dosed.
You can use tho dome override button, located
below the extenor lamps conirol, ic sel the dome lamps
lo come on automatically when the doors are opened,
or remain off. To turn the lamps oft, press the button Into
Ihe in position. With the button in this position, the
dome lamps will remain off when Ihe doors are open.
To return the lamps to aulomatic operation, press
the button again and return Jl to the oui position. With
lha bution In this position, the dome lamps will come on
when you open a door
Battery Hun-Down Protection
This feature shuts off the dome, reading, glove boK, and
underhood lamps if they are lefi on for more than
10 minutes when the ignition t& off. The cargo lamp will
shul off aHer 20 mfriules. This will keep your baltery
from running down.
Accessory Power Outlets
With accessory power outlets you can plug in auxilia/y
etectrical eguipmenr such as a cellular telephone or
CB radio-
Your vehicle may have iwo accessory power outlets, or
may hava one accessory power Dullet located near
the cigarette lighter, if equipped. The cigarette lighter is
designed to fil only in the receptacle to the right of
the accessory power outlet.
To usa the outlel. lift Ihe Cover, When nol using it.
always close the cover
Certain powar accessory plugs may not be compelible
lo Ihe accessory power outlet and could result in
blown vehicle or adapter fuses. If you experience a
problent, see your dealer for addilional information on
the accessory power plugs.
Notice: Adding some electrical equiprnenl to your
vehicle can damage ll or keep other things frorri
working as they should. This wouldn’t he covered by
your warranty. Check with your dealer before
adding elcclrical eguEpment, and never use anything
that exceeds the amperage rating.
