Inserì a cfisc partwav into the slot, label side up. The
player will pulì rt in and tha disc should begin playing. The
display will show ihe CD symbol. If you wanno inserta
compact disc with the ignitrqn off, first press DISP or the
eject symbol.
IF an error appears on the display, sgo "Compact Disc
Messages" Eater in This section.
1 PREV (Previous): Press this pushbulton to go to Ihe
previous track if the currenl track has beert playing for
[ESS than eight seconds. If pressed when the current irach
has been playing for more than eight seconds, it wHt go to
Ihe beginning of Ihecurrerit track. TRACK and Ihe track
number will appear on ihe dispisy, II you hold this
pushbutlon or press it more lhan onco, Ihe player wilt
continue moving back through the disc.
2 NEXTi Press this pushbutton (o go to the nejit track.
TRACK and Ihe track numbar will appear on the display,
if you hold This pushbutton or press it more than once, ihe
player will conlmue moving forward through the disc.
3 REV (Reverse): Press and hold Ihis pushbutton to
reverse qulcWy withm a track. Press and hold ihis
pushbutlon For less Ihan two seconds to reverse al six
limes lha normal playing speed. Press and hold it For
more than iwo seconds lo reverse al 17 times ths normal
playing speed. Rcles^fl il to play the pasaagCr The

Pìaying a Compact Disc
4 FWD (Forward); Press and hold this pushbulton to
advance quickly wilhtn a track. Press and hold this
pushbutton for lass tharr two seconds to advance at sFx
limes the normal playing speed. Press and hold it For
more than two seconds to advance at 17 tim^s the
normal playing speed. Release it to play the passage.
The display will show ET and the elapsed time.
& RDM (Random): Press this pushbutton to hear Ihe
tracks in randpm, ralher Ihgn sequenlial, order. RDM ON
wilt appear on ihe display. RDM T and the track
rrumhor will appear on tho display when each track
siarta 10 play Press Ibis pushbulton again lo turn
off fandom play. RDM OFF will appear or the display.
^ SEEK ► : Press Ihe left arrow to go to the siad
of the cument or to the previous track. Press the right
arrow to go to the slarl oF Ihe next track. II either
arrow fs held or pressed more Ihen once. The player will
continue moving backward or forward Ihrough the GD+
M SCAN ► : To scan the disc, press and hold
either SCAN arrow for more Ihgn two seconds until
SCAN appears on the display and you hear a beep. Use
this leature to listen to 10 seconds of each track of
Ihe disc. Press either SCAN arrov; again, lo stop
scanning.
