You’ll bfl using the latc^should^r belt. See Top Strap on

page i-43 it the child restfalnl has ona. Be sure to

iollovy the instructions that came with the ch<ld reslraint.

Secure the child in the child re&traifil when and as

the Jnslnjclions say

1+ If your vehicle has a passenger air bag and эп eir

bag off switch, and you are using a rear-facing child

restrair^l in This seat, maka sure Ihe ait bag is

turned off. See Air Bag Off Swfteh on page X-70. If

your child Testraini is (orwand-tacing, always

move the saal as laf back as it will gu before

securing if in this seat. See "Seats” in the lnde}<.

3. Pick up the latch plate, and run the lap and shoulder

portions of the vehicle's safety belt through or

around the rastrairtt. The child restraint Insiruchons
